Charitable Grants Program
At To Proudly Go, community giving has been part of our mission from the beginning. Through our events, fundraising campaigns, merchandise sales, partnerships, and the generosity of our supporters, we raise funds that allow us to give back to organizations doing meaningful work for LGBTQIA+ people and the broader communities we serve.
Through the To Proudly Go Charitable Grants Program, we provide financial support to eligible nonprofit and community-based organizations whose work aligns with our charitable mission and values. Priority is given to organizations and initiatives supporting LGBTQIA+ communities, youth, health and wellness, food security, housing and community care, anti-bullying and resilience, and other programs that help people live safely, authentically, and proudly.
Our approach to philanthropy is rooted in community. To Proudly Go uses the visibility and connection created through science fiction, fandom, drag, and inclusive community programming as a platform for charitable action. Funds raised through designated campaigns and other charitable resources are transformed into direct support for organizations working every day to strengthen and uplift their communities.
Since our founding, To Proudly Go has raised and donated more than $16,000 to charitable organizations and community causes. Past beneficiaries and partners have included organizations providing LGBTQIA+ youth services, HIV/AIDS support, food assistance, legal services, mental health and wellness resources, anti-bullying programs, housing support, and community outreach.
Charitable Grants By Fiscal Year
Applying for Support
Organizations interested in receiving support through the Charitable Grants Program are invited to submit a request for consideration. Grant awards are based on alignment with To Proudly Go's charitable purposes, demonstrated community impact, available funding, and the priorities established by the organization.
Because To Proudly Go is a small, volunteer-led nonprofit, funding is limited and an application does not guarantee an award. Each request is reviewed carefully to ensure that our charitable resources are used responsibly and in furtherance of our mission.
Through every grant, fundraiser, and community partnership, we seek to put into practice the future we celebrate through science fiction: one built on inclusion, dignity, compassion, and collective responsibility.
