Advisory Council

The To Proudly Go Advisory Council brings together individuals who have made significant contributions to our organization and whose experience, expertise, and perspectives can help strengthen our work.

Advisory Council members serve as trusted resources to To Proudly Go, providing insight and guidance on our programs, initiatives, and effectiveness in meeting the needs of the communities we serve. Members participate on an as-needed basis, offering strategic advice on matters relevant to their individual backgrounds and areas of expertise.

The Advisory Council provides an important connection to the knowledge and experience of those who have helped shape and support To Proudly Go while contributing their perspectives to our continued growth and impact.

I think this version also makes an important governance distinction: the Council advises; the Board governs; Officers and Staff manage. That separation is useful to communicate clearly on a nonprofit's leadership page.
